PFI offers a variety of online advertisement options to suit your specific needs. Skyscraper ads
Description: Skyscrapers are ads that will be displayed to the sides of the content on targeted web pages. The ads can be text based, photo based or an animation. The ad will open a new window/tab to the target page of the avertiser's choosing once clicked by the user.
File formats accepted: .JPEGS, .PNGs, .GIFs or .SWFs.
File dimensions: 120 (wide) x 600 (tall) pixels.
File size limitations: Must not exceed 50kb (kylobytes).
Ad duration: No limit.
Ad purchasing options: CPM (Cost Per Impression).

Interstitial ads
Description: Interstitial ads are displayed in between pages on a site. When a user selects another page from the navigation, they may get a PFI branded ad page that will show in place of the requested page for a few seconds. There will be an option at the top to skip the ad and continue to the desired destination. If this is not clicked, the user will be forwarded after the ad has finished running. The ads can be text based, photo based or an animation. The ad will open a new window/tab to the target page of the avertiser's choosing once clicked by the user.
File formats accepted: .JPEGS, .PNGs, .GIFs or .SWFs.
File dimensions: No larger than 760 (wide) by 420 (tall) pixels.
File size limitations: Must not exceed 150kb (kylobytes).
Ad duration: Must not exceed 15 seconds.
Ad purchasing options: CPM (Cost Per Impression).

Email ads
Description: We offer the ability to advertise in bulk email messages we send out. The ads are non-obstrusive and are displayed at the bottom of the message. The ads can be text based, photo based or an animation. The ad will open a new window/tab to the target page of the avertiser's choosing once clicked by the user.
File formats accepted: .JPEGS, .PNGs or .GIFs.
File dimensions: 468 (wide) x 60 (tall) pixels.
File size limitations: Must not exceed 50kb (kylobytes).
Ad duration: No limit.
Ad purchasing options: CPM (Cost Per Impression).

Video ads
Description: Training and flight related videos are available to PFI's users free of charge. Ad space is available for purchase at the beginning or the end of the videos. Ad duration is restricted to 5 seconds. The ad will open a new window/tab to the target page of the avertiser's choosing once clicked by the user. Please include an additional 2 seconds of video (for a total of 7 seconds) at the end of the advertisement if an .MPEG or .AVI is being submitted. This will allow us to create a smooth transition between the ad and the video.
File formats accepted: .MPEGs, .AVIs, .JPEGS, .PNGs or .GIFs.

File size limitations: No limit.
Ad duration: 5 seconds of advertisement with 2 seconds of transitional space (7 seconds total).

Print Advertising
PFI offers print advertising options in addition to the above online options. Postcard ads
Description: PFI offers the opportunity to purchase ad space on postcards. The postcards are mailed to CFIs from us, on behalf of the students who have expressed interest in them on our site. They contain selected information from that student's profile. Ad space is available on the front of the postcard as a replacement image to our defaults and at the bottom of the text area on the back.
File formats accepted: .PSDs, .PDFs, .EPSs or .AIs.
File dimensions front: 5.59 (wide) x 4.33 (tall) inches at 300 DPI.
File dimensions back: 2.5 (wide) x 0.5 (tall) inches at 300 DPI.
File size limitations: No limit.
Ad purchasing options: CPM (Cost Per Impression).
