If you have always had a passion to fly I know the feeling and can help you make that dream come true. I have had a passion to fly since I was a kid, building and crashing model planes, pretending and fanaticizing that I was a pilot. Well after many years, I am one, and a instructor. I started pursuing my “dream” at later stage in life at the young age of 49. After earning my private certificate, I found that I wanted to pursue flying in the Idaho Backcountry and made that my next goal (to support my other interest in fishing). I’ve taken several back country flying clinics and have 5 years experience in many of the backcountry strips. My interest in instruction began when my job as a engineer was “downsized”, which gave me the opportunity to pursue this career. I have been flying for 10 years, have 1350 total hours flying. My goal is to give you the best bang for your buck in earning your certificates. I go beyond the minimums and try to teach my students things that I was never taught as a student. For instance, spin training is not required, but I like to give my students the experience of being in a spin and teach them spin recovery if they so desire. I also have them experience real short/soft field take off and landings on a grass strip. My style is easy going and am not affraid to let students make mistakes, as long as there is no danger. I like to keep my hands off the yoke as much as possible. I also like to have fun and let the my students have fun.

I'm located in Boise , Idaho
