School Description
Windsong offers adults accelerated training at a flat rate which includes the aircraft, instructor, housing, a car to drive, all materials, and all fees. We operate from McMinnville, TN, 35 SE of Nashville. Our area offers a good mix of Class B, Class C, and uncontrolled airports with year long good weather here in the South. Our goal is to prepare people who wish to own and operate their own aircraft in the real world environment of cross country flying within the system.
Staff Qualification
We are a small operation which focuses on the individual. As CEO, I take the lead on instruction. I am a CFI, CFII, MEI and a retired professor of Aerospace at Middle Tenn. St. Univ. I have been flying in the system in all weathers for more than 40 years, and I feel that I am well qualified to prepare you for daily business/pleasure flying.
More About Us

We teach much more than the minimum required to pass a check ride; we offer the knowledge/judgement development necessary to make you a safe and skilled cross country pilot.
