More » Start here! 3 minute guide »Provides pilots with simulator-based recurrent instrument flight training. Proficient flight is able to do the IPC and most of the Flight Review in the simulator. The Frasca-142P with it's 180 degree visual and forty seven aircraft is approved by all insurance companies to meet their annual requirements. All single and multi-engine piston aircraft can be immulated from the cabin class Cessnas and Piper Navajo series all the way down to the Cessna C-172. The Frasca 142P has GPS and HSI for training. It is also approved for 20 hours of the forty hours required for the instrument rating, fifty hours towards the Commercial rating and five hours towards the Private pilot rating.

School Description
We specialize mainly on the Instrument portion of flying. We are able to take care of all your needs, from just getting you instrument current again or the IPC and Insurance annual check out for your type of aircraft. We have thirteen years of experience in conducting the ten day instrument rating. All courses include the ground school and then the flight simulator. The Simulator is based at the Juneau, WI. airport, (KUNU) which is also the FBO of Wisconsin Aviation who has several aircraft rentals available. I own a Piper Arrow with Dual Garmin GNS-430's and HSI as well as a panel mounted GNS-396 with XM weather.
Staff Qualification
The Proficient Flight Instructor Holds ATP MEL, CFII, ASMELI ratings with 19,000 hours plus. Twenty two years between the U.S. Navy and USCG Search and Rescue (SAR). Thirteen years with Proficional Instrument Courses conducting the ten day instrument course. Four years running Proficient Flight for the previous owners prior to purchasing the business. Ninety percent of the instructor's time has been spent as an instructor specializing in instrumebnt training.
