Staff Qualification
Your instructor, John Sibole, earned his Private Pilot - Airplane as a teenager by working as a line-boy at a grass strip. He majored in Mechanical Engineering at college, was commissioned through ROTC, and became an Air Force fighter pilot. After active duty, he entered the Army National Guard, where he trained in helicopters and flew the UH-1 Huey. John was hired by a major airline in 1980 and has been a captain since 1987. He served for three years as a Boeing 737 Check Airman and has been a trans-Atlantic captain on the Boeing 767. He has added to his flying credentials over the years and today holds ATP and CFII ratings in both helicopters and airplanes. With John as your instructor, you will be mentored personally by a 20,000-hour aviator who loves to teach and whose mission is to make you the best pilot you can be.
