Staff Qualification
Peter Surina, owner and chief flight instructor of Norfolk Flight Center, LLC, is an accomplished pilot with multiple flight ratings including Gold Seal CFI, CFII, MEI, AGI and IGI. Mr. Surina offers over 5 years of aviation experience and has given 3,000 hours of flight training out of the Hampton Roads area. He graduated with honors from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University with a Professional Aeronautics degree along with Minors in Management and Aviation Safety. Additionally, he has served as an Assistant Chief Flight Instructor at a Part 141 Flight School, where his duties included being a Check Airman for intermediate and final check flights.
