Hello, My name is Steve Vaught. I'm currently employed full time by a Major Airline as a B737 Captain and Check Airman. I've been an active flight instructor since 1979 and am still in love with general aviation. I own two aircraft-a 1957 Cessna 172 and a 1989 Piper Super Cub. I am unable to rent either aircraft due to the cost of commercial insurance. I am a Designated Pilot Examiner for the Scottsdale FSDO-Private thru. ATP. I still enjoy flight instruction but at this time am only able to do one day events such as flight reviews, instrument proficiency checks, and practical tests. Active Flight Instructor since 1979. Instructed full-time in Oklahoma City area from 1979-1981. Have instructed part-time since 1981. Have logged over 1000.0 hrs. flight instruction given. Loft Instructor/Check Airman for Major Airline since 1997. Was designated Pilot Examiner by Scottsdale FSDO in 2006. Give Private through ATP check rides. Currently unable to accept full time students but am available for flight reviews, instrument proficiency checks, and check ride prep. as well as practical tests. (in student/applicant provided aircraft)

Educational Background
Attended University of Oklahoma from 1975-1977. Attended Southeastern Oklahoma State University from 1977-1979 and graduated with a BS in Aviation. Attended Flight Safety and Simuflite initial and recurrent courses on Sabreliner and Cessna Citation aircraft.
