Flight/Flight Instruction Experience
I've been a CFI/CFII since 1977, and have over 3000 hours. I instructed all over the country for the AOPA weekend flight training courses back in the '80s. I taught ground school at Parks College of St. Louis Univ. for 12 years and became the author of "An Invitation to Fly" - a private pilot groundschool textbook. In addition to flight instruction I flew charter for about 5 years out of STL. I'm currently in the Detroit MI area, teaching out of Oakland Troy airport (VLL) at a Cessna Pilot Center in G1000 equipped Cessnas. I am a Cessna FITS Approved Instructor for the G1000.

Educational Background
I have a Bachelor Degree in Aerospace engineering.

Additional Comments
My personal airplane is a Van's RV-7A, built in my garage. It has a Subaru H6 engine, and is equipped for IFR flight.
