Thank you for checking out my profile, it is privilage for me to have you consider me as your future flight instructor. I enjoy flight instruction very much, it is joy to help others fulfill their dreams of becoming pilots. I have been instructing since 1992 with a short break during the 2001 terroist attacks and having a couple of kids. It is my desire to be a part-fulltime flight instructor. I am not building hours to run off to an airline. I am currently working towards getting the experience I need to obtaining my Inspector Authorization Rating(IA, for aircraft maintenance. I also fly "Wings Of Mercy" Trips with a friend of mine in his Beechcraft Duke. I have a part time job that I use to help offset the slow times and to help pay the bills. That allows me the flexibility to either train pilots or do maintenance. I look forward to the opportunity to fly with you. Michael

Flight/Flight Instruction Experience
It is a joy for me to be able to take someone who has always had the desire and dream to fly and maki it a reality. I am a pretty easy going instructor, I don't get mad or yell in the cockpit or on the ground. You, the student are usually nervous enough and adding that on top does not bring a very good trainng environment. I do have high expectaions of my students though, I do expect them to do their homework. I don't like to have my time wasted, nor yours, with students that aren't willing to do the homework. I understand that sometime circumstance happen and they need to be dealt with each on their own merit. More importantly than waisting my time, it costs YOU the student more because we have to back up and make sure that those items get covered. I understand that you are spending your hard earned money to achieve a dream, I don't take advantage of this. I charge for the time that we are together. Usually 2 hour blocks, I am always available for questions as well. Even if you are late I begin the charge when we were to meet. If you cancel, in short order I still charge the full time for instruction. I have recently had 3 students get there pilots license: 2 Private Pilots and 1 Light Sport Pilot. I really enjoy teaching, it is the highlite of what I do. If you have any futher questions please feel free to contact me. Michael
