For a private certificate you can expect to spend between $4800 and $8000 depending on how intensely you can stay with a training program. We use Cessna's 172 aircraft and charge $95/hour for each hour of run time. If you have your own aircraft that's OK too. Charges for instruction are $45/hour whether in the air or on the ground. Depending on how much time you dedicate to your training it would take from about 3 months to 2 years to get the private license. Our operation is quite small, so we specialize in individually tailored instruction. We are sure we can meet your needs whether you want to fast tract obtaining a private (or other) license or move at a more leisurely pace.
