Flight/Flight Instruction Experience
Started Instruction at McClellan AFB Part 141 school 1997. The following year the School Closed as did McClellan AFB. Then began teaching at Travis Aero Club, and American Aero club. Travis and American Aero club were Part 61, and mainly was primary students. The difference between the two was that American Aero had a J-3 Cub, and a Decathlon, both tail wheel aircraft. Started instruction for Tail wheel aircraft in 1999. Started aerobatics in the Decathlon, doing mostly positive G manuevers. American Aero closed in 2002. Current instructor out of Rancho Murieta with the Flying Vikings, and out of Sacramento Executive.
Educational Background
The last school to attend was Sacramento City College and completed a two year program to qualify for my A&P License which I have since July 2005. I picked up my CFI Instrument in March 2002, doing an accelerated program with West Air Avaition based in North Las Vegas. My CFI was done through a Part 141 School based at McClellan Air Force Base. Currently have 120 units of college but do not have my Bachelor Degree. Served 4 years in the US Army. Worked for the State of California for over 30 years, I was a Printer, Machine Shop Manager and Pressroom Manager for Office of State Printing, retiring May 2006.
