More » Start here! 3 minute guide »Jason Miller is a flight instructor, musician, and producer of "The Finer Points" aviation podcast. Jason has logged more than 1500 hours of instruction given and continues to teach actively in the San Francisco Bay Area. Jason and his students enjoy a perfect record with the FAA. In his early twenties Jason spent his time developing the legendary independent jam band, Citrus, and led the group to perform extensively in the Midwestern United States. Citrus received rave reviews and performed at notable venues such as The House of Blues, The Vic Theater, and the Cabaret Metro. The disbanding of Citrus allowed Jason to pursue his love for aviation full time. Early in 1998 Jason moved west to follow a sense of adventure and continue the quest for perpetually blue skies. Settling in Berkeley California, Jason explored his love for all things nautical and spent four years as a liveaboard at the Berkeley marina on his sailboat, Alaina. Life on the water was conducive to songwriting and quiet study time. He now lives in San Francisco with his fiancée Jessica Hawley, a custom perfumer and the love of his life.
