School Description
Beverly Flight Center has been at the Beverly Airport since 1986. Previously known as just the Flight Center, Beverly Flight Center is a fully operational flight school and pilot shop. Located just 30 minutes north of Boston, it is an excellent place to either learn to fly or advance your skills. Beverly Airport underlies Boston's class B airspace with a wide variety of aircraft operating daily. A control tower and two runways extending up to 5,000 feet allow for a metropolitan airport feel within a friendly home airport environment. Beverly Airport is just an ideal place for flying enthusiasts.
The Beverly Flight Center, otherwise known as BFC, is a family owned and operated business with a warm, friendly environment. We employ a staff of light-hearted, knowledgeable men and women that are involved in a variety of aviation activities. Our instructors range in age from twenty to fifty plus, and are available 7 days a week. So if your goal is to obtain a student license or to qualify for flying commercial jets across the world, BFC is a great place to start. We have hundreds of former students and instructors flying for major airlines such as United, US Airways, Continental, American, UPS, Delta, Business Express, TWA, and Cape Air.
