More » Start here! 3 minute guide »I was born with an X, Y, and an A chromosome with A being for aviation. As a small boy I built over a hundred airplane models with a majority of them hanging from my bedroom ceiling. I experimented with model rockets, played with gas and remote control airplanes. Then as a teenager a friend of my father's had a 1941 Globe Swift tail dragger, which I was able to make several flights in and the passion for flying became almost an obsession. I received my Bachelors degree from Metro State College of Denver in 1991 with a Professional Pilot major and a double minor in Aviation Management and International Business. I have been instructing since 1991. I have lived my entire life in Colorado and the Denver area, so I am very familiar with the diverse conditions that can be found here. I have been flying for over 20 years all based out of Centennial Airport. I currently instruct out of Aspen Flying Club at Centennial. I am a firm believer in teaching with using the FITS concept where I try to use real life situations and scenarios in everything I teach to make you a better pilot and not to just pass a check-ride. Safety is of the utmost importance in my flying and teaching. We all can work on being safer pilots and making the skies a safer place to enjoy our passion for flying. I am available for instruction on weekends and weekday evenings. My availability for instruction includes Private, Instrument, Commercial training, Flight Reviews, Discovery Flights, G1000 transitional training and being a ground school instructor.
