I am an experienced flight instructor with approximately 3100 flight hours as an instructor. I instruct private, commercial and instrument. I am muli-engine rated but do not instruct ME. I am a retired Navy Commander with 27 years of active duty mostly as a surface ship officer on destroyers. After retiring from the navy I spent 12 years as Chief Engineer of hospitals. I am married and have 3 daughters and 2 grandchildren. I have been an active flight instructor since 1998. I also enjoy sailing, which I spend many hours in the spring, summer and fall seasons.
