Welcome to Sterling Flight Training by Malone Air, Inc. We are a family owned and operated flight training company, doing business at Craig Airport (KCRG), since May 2000. We are dedicated to providing the highest quality standards in flight training, through individualized pilot courses and complete professional pilot training programs. We also offer a degreed flight training program, in conjunction with Florida State College at Jacksonville. The Malone family prides themselves on offering the best flight instructional value for your money, without compromising safety. Our number one priority is flight safety! We take a personalized approach with each of our students, and strive to make your flight training experience an enjoyable one. At Sterling Flight Training, we embrace the “train to proficiency” concept of flight training. If a student has not demonstrated the required level of proficiency for completion of a course or program, we do not abandon them. Instead, additional training in the specific area of need will be provided. Sterling Flight Training leaves nothing to chance, and only employs fully qualified and certificated flight instructors, and A&P/IA maintenance staff. Sterling’s maintenance department works in conjunction with the flight training program’s instructors, to ensure that each student understands the mechanical functions of the aircraft and that all flight operations are performed within aircraft limitations. We hope that you will give us the opportunity to assist you with all of your flight training needs.
