School Description
The University Flying Club is a student organization of the University of Texas at Austin. Associate membership is open to any aviation enthusiast.
The club was first registered in 1973, but traces its heritage to the Longhorn Flying Club, which was started by a group of UT students in the spring semester of 1956 at the old Mueller airport with a used Cessna 140 and a Piper Cub.
