School Description
Western Colorado has been a haven for general aviation flying for many years, yet there has never been a true sense of an aviation community here. Colorado Flight Center sought to change that by launching a friendly, professional and modern approach to flight training while providing opportunities for pilots to gather together, learn together and fly together. We offer monthly safety seminars called "Flying After Hours" as well as year-round opportunities for flyouts and other events.

Staff Qualification
Our staff boasts thousands of hours of flight time and instructional experience and who, more importantly, aren't in the business for building flight time. Ours are career professionals who have a passion for helping students and pilots meet their flying goals. Both Cessna and Cirrus have authorized our instructors for flight training. On staff are two former airline pilots, offering a wealth of knowledge and professional mentoring for our students.
