Why do we require you to register before contacting Westwind School of Aeronautics?
More » Start here! 3 minute guide »Westwind School of Aeronautics, located in sunny Phoenix, Arizona, offers the highest level of flight training using a modern fleet of aircraft. We offer training using an advanced flight syllabus, state of the art flight simulators, and ground instruction through both private, one-on-one instruction and ground schools taught in a classroom setting. Unlike most other schools, Westwind does not require you to pay in advance for flight training, nor do we have you sign a training contract. There is never any reason to pay in advance for flight training! Because Westwind is so well known for training pilots to such high standards, several airlines have lowered their hiring minimums for Westwind graduates. For example, American Eagle Airlines has lowered their minimums to 250 total hours of flight time, and Colgan Air (operating as United Express, US Air Express, and Continental Connection) has a program where Westwind students may get a job offer as soon as they earn their Private Pilot Certificate at Westwind.
