Glacier Aviation offers ratings through CFII for helicopters and airplanes at two locations (Olympia and Skagit County) in Washington State. Offering student housing, Glacier offers a complete package of training allowing the commercial pilot to launch their career in aviation. Glacier's staff works hard to construct a positive and supportive learning environment. Our test center for written tests and our in-house Designated Pilot Examiner offer a "one stop" location for all of your training needs. Glacier makes available financing options through nationally recognized student loan programs, and is affiliated with degree programs for students that are interested in two and four year aviation degrees.

School Description
Glacier Aviation is a full service helicopter and fixed wing Part 61 flight school, offering professional instruction in a profressional and comfortable environment. At any moment, we have approximately 80 students seeking various ratings from Private Pilot to Certified Flight Instructor - Instrument in two locations. The maintenance of our helicopters and airplanes exceeds requirements by the Federal Aviation Administration for flight school operations. With our on staff DPE and our fully qualified flight instructors, our goal is to prepare our students as career commercial pilots.
Staff Qualification
Our flight instructors are fully qualified to train you for your commercial pilot career, from Private Pilot through Certified Flight Instructor - Instrument. We have eight helicopter CFII's and three airplane CFI's and an on staff Designated Pilot Examiner. Glacier is proud of our primary ground instructor who prepares each student for the written and oral portions of their ratings. The complete package of instructors and examiner make our program unique in the Western United States.
