My name is Thomas Johnson and I am a free-lance flight instructor based on the south side of Chicago at Lansing Airport in Lansing Illinois (KIGQ), Griffith Airport in Griffith, Indiana (05C) and also at Gary/Chicago Airport in Gary, Indiana (KGYY). My flight experience would be described as diverse. I have been flying for over 10 years and have experience in everything from a Cessna 172 all the way up to a King Air 200.

Educational Background
My educational background mostly encompasses aviation. I have a Bachelors Degree in Aviation Management as well as various certifications in the IT industry.

Additional Comments
I fly for fun and try to make the instructional experience fun as well. I thoroughly believe that recurrent training is important to aviation safety and try to use my flight instructor certificate to give back to the community when ever possible.
